My name is Lyla. I didn't have a good start at life. I was left by the side of
inside and found me. I was about 6-8 weeks old. She took me home and
took care of me for the first 2 years of my life. She moved out of her
parents home into an apartment. They wouldn't allow her to bring me. They
said I was too big and that pit bulls were not allowed. I don't know why! I'm
a sweet, lovable girl. So I had to stay with my grandparents. I was sad at
first because I missed my mom but I got used to it. I had 2 playmates. They
were 2 big German Shepherds. We got along great. But you see, my
grandpa works in Fort Lauderdale and is home every second weekend and
grandma is a nurse with Hospice, which is a very stressful job. My mom
stopped coming to visit me and wasn't paying for my vet care. So my
grandparents had to make a very hard decision. My vet called my foster
mom to see if she can get me into a rescue so I can find my forever new
family.
I'm all up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped. I know my commands.
I love car rides and walks and to just sit and watch TV with you. I'm 4 years
old and have a lot of love to give. Oh and I also get along with dogs and cats.
