Membership Application
| Anyone! Mid Florida encourages anyone interested in preserving the American Pit Bull Terrier to join in our association. Our club focuses on hosting an ADBSI point show annually that draws participants from all over the southeastern United States, and to fight against Breed Specific Legislation. Who can join? Anyone who loves this breed. Your APBT's need not be registered to participant. And, yes, your dog may be spayed or neutered to participate. We are here for all APBT's. Single memberships are $20 annually and Family memberships are $25 annually. We do not condone any illegal activity, therefore membership in this association is a privilege, not a right. (Membership dues are non-refundable.) Mid Florida APBTA will never deny the history and heritage of our breed but if you are involved in activity that violates the 1976 Animal Welfare Act this association is not for you. Mid Florida is here to offer a positive environment with activities where these dogs can display their beauty, strength and loyalty, as well as their owners being made to feel welcome to gather together. |

developed. Here everyone can have a great time together admiring one
another's dogs; while hosting monthly fun shows. Benefits of joining.....
1) You are offered a reduced entry of $3.00 for each fun show event; non
members pay $5.00
2) Free association t-shirt with initial membership; t-shirts normally sell for
$12.00.
3) Free annual subscription to the Bullsheet Newsletter published quarterly.
4) One free advertisement in the Bullsheet Newsletter; edition of your
choice.
5) Membership card to display your loyalty to the breed.
6) Voting privileges for all association business; "a say" in the future of our
breed.
7) The right be nominated and run as an official officers of the association
after attending and participating in a minimum of 8 club meetings
and fun events.

How do I join?
To join we need a completed membership application and full payment of
annual dues. We also request you read over our Constitution and By-Laws.

How is my membership money used?
Monies generated from membership dues is used for our fun show and point
show expenses for such things as trophies and ribbons, show site rental and
insurance and judges airfare and accommodation expenses. Our financial
records are open and available to for anyone to see.

| No facing off of dogs. No drugs or alcohol will be tolerated by members or participants. No human aggressive dogs, or dog aggressive humans will be allowed to participate in events. This is a family event, good sportsmanship and respectable conduct is expected. Please be careful to keep adequate distance between you and the next dog. Remember, your APBT may not be dog aggressive, bu the one next to you could be. As with any breed of dog, do not attempt to pet any dog without first getting permission from the owner. No loitering with your dog please. If you and your dog are visiting our event for the first time as an observer that is fine. If you are a familiar face with a familiar dog, your participation is expected. Anyone not willing to abide by these rules will be asked to leave the premises.
